Our Tarnished Release Party at Atomic Books!

Our Tarnished book release party at Atomic Books in Baltimore, Maryland was a huge success. We were joined by authors Amanda Kingsbury, Valley Haggard, Julie Geen, Jennifer Tress and Jennifer Levy. Linas Garsys, the talented artist whose painting graces the cover of Tarnished, was also there. All of the readers did an amazing job. Ben & Rachel of Atomic Books were great hosts. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Thank you Atomic!

Tarnished Release Party in City Paper

“Maybe it’s not about the most uplifting of subjects, but this new collection of true stories does promise a compelling homegrown read. Local publisher Pinchback Press presents an anthology of timeless coming-of-age tales, proving that all innocence is eventually tarnished along the road of life…” Read the rest in the Baltimore City Paper.

We’re looking forward to tonight’s reading at Atomic Books!

Chop Suey Reading in Richmond

Valley Haggard and Julie Geen held their very own Tarnished reading! From all reports, both lovely ladies gave a wonderful reading.

Valley Haggard lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and six-year-old son. A freelance writer who teaches creative writing, she has been the book editor for Richmond’s alternative newspaper, Style Weekly, since 2004. Visit her at www.valleyhaggard.com.

Julie Geen is a freelance writer, mother of two, and a substitute teacher. She lives in rural Virginia, and has been published in the local rags and the anthology Ask Me about My Divorce (Seal Press, 2009), although she did not end up getting that divorce. She also writes screenplays and is pretty sure she’s going to Hollywood one day.
