Cara Bruce & Shawna Kenney will be hosting Robot Hearts contributors Allison McCarthy, Trudi Taylor, Slash Coleman, Pat Fish and Shira Tarrant as they share their essays and sign books at the 2010 Baltimore Book Festival. We will be in the Literary Salon tent.

The Baltimore Book Festival goes all weekend. We will be performing Friday, September 24, from 5 to 6 p.m.

Join us Monday, October 4, 2010 for our October Washington Writers’ Salon at Science Club near Dupont Circle. No workshopping–just mixing and mingling and meeting other writers. Here’s what Daily Candy had to say about us: “… a night of creative collaboration for budding bards who have scrawled as much as a novel or as little as a Post-it.”

In the tradition of the great 15th-century French literary salons, England’s “Bluestocking society,” Harlem’s Renaissance and New York City’s Algonquin Round Table, we aim for camaraderie and collaboration among fellow creatives.
